Last night [livejournal.com profile] frax, [livejournal.com profile] cardinalsin and [livejournal.com profile] chrestomancy came over for food and gaming. There were baked jacket potatoes with Rochfort (if that's how it's spelt), lemon cheesecake and then a weird-ish game involving sous chefs, a tall building and a devil bunny. Then another game ([livejournal.com profile] chrestomancy-made) with bidding counts (mooks), businesses and cities. I came second and joint-first respectively; so I was happy ;-).

The Christmas Tree went up today. Beatrice helped (and wanted to help more) and Ryan generally admired lights and got in the way. OK, the tree would look better in a tidier lounge, but it's the thought that counts.

No, not yet. We were away from Thursday night until very nearly this morning. But we have whisky and beer and a new game for tonight! (BOUNCE! BOUNCE!)

Also I'm suffering the unpleasant notion that Devil Bunny wouldn't be out of place in PU. (He'd probably be a Justice Paine special).

Oh, but isn't Devil Bunny already in PU? Doesn't Devil Bunny go by the name of Missus Y?

My friend Zena has twin boys, aged about two. Last christmas a few people were round at her house for mince pies and enjoyed the wonderful sight of Ash and Kim diligently taking all the decorations off the tree and putting them back on in a big shiny cluster about two feet off the ground. Then Zena would take a few and put them back, and the twins would get them off again and put them back where they wanted them. It went on like this all day, they never seemed to get tired of it :)

At four it becomes several small clusters. Which, I guess, is an improvement.

Maybe by eight you'll have a normal looking tree again :)
