Bank Holiday Weekend

It's been a lovely few days. Admittedly, I've mostly admired it from indoors where I can't get sunburn. However, I do appreciate the sun, and the warmth (particularly when it's not too hot) and it makes me happy.

I've spent this weekend not doing very much. I think I needed it though.

What this has amounted to is:

• I've played a great deal of Final Fantasy XIV. Some of it with John and Chris F.
• Buying icecream (in my case, chocolate and tiramisu) from the local place (Pebbles) on its first day of opening this year (it's open 1st May -> 1st October).
• Worrying about the cat when he disappeared for 24 hours (we think he got shut in somewhere).
• Making lemon and thyme scones (and next time I'll ignore the recipe book's too small sizing of the scones).
• Booking the family Center Parcs activities (for when we are there with Dom's parents).
• Making a fish casserole with Ryan.
• Editing last week's chapter following the Triangle comments.

Now for a short week.
