In light of the answer to question 1 the gorillas would, of course, have to be throwing snow-balls at each other, wearing Santa hats, sledging or some other traditional Chrimbo activity to be permissible.

We must know more details! Some apparently non-festive activities can still score enough points on the Xmasimian Index¹ that they would render the card acceptable.
